PSD2 Dedicated Interface as a Service
Crosskey's PSD2 service is built on a modular, API-driven architecture designed to provide a secure and scalable interface between banks and licensed third-party providers. At its core, the service acts as a dedicated PSD2 gateway that exposes regulated APIs for account information and payment initiation in full compliance with PSD2 requirements. The architecture includes centralised API management for traffic control, monitoring, throttling and lifecycle management. Strong customer authentication, consent handling and role-based access control are integral parts of the solution. The platform validates TPP identities and certificates and enforces PSD2 roles including AISP, PISP and CBPII at runtime. All access is fully traceable through comprehensive logging and audit mechanisms, supporting regulatory reporting and incident analysis. The service is decoupled from the bank's internal core systems, reducing complexity and operational risk. It supports both production and sandbox environments for efficient TPP onboarding and testing. Built on a cloud-ready and resilient foundation, the architecture supports high availability and scalability as transaction volumes grow.
