Accessibility statement
Updated: May 13, 2026
Our approach
Crosskey wants www.crosskey.fi and www.crosskey.se to work for everyone, including people who use assistive technology or rely on a keyboard, a screen reader, or larger text to browse. We treat accessibility as part of building a good website, not as a separate exercise.
This page explains the standard we work to, where the website meets it, where it does not, and how to get in touch if you run into a problem.
The standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This is the international benchmark referenced by the European standard EN 301 549 and by Finland's Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019), which implements the EU Web Accessibility Directive. We use it as our target whether or not it is strictly required for our website.
In plain terms, that means we want our content to be possible to see and hear, the site to work with a keyboard and a screen reader, the language to be easy to follow, and the underlying code to behave reliably across browsers and assistive technologies.
Where we stand today
We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines across the website, and we are not aware of any specific accessibility issues at the moment. Accessibility is an ongoing exercise, though, and we treat it as part of how we design and maintain the site going forward.
What the site works with
The website is built to work with the latest versions of common browsers — Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari — and with widely used assistive technologies, including screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver, browser zoom, and keyboard-only navigation.
It may not work as expected in very old browsers, or in a browser where JavaScript has been fully disabled.
About this statement
This statement was last reviewed on 13 May 2026. We update it when we make significant changes to the website or to the tools that affect accessibility.
Tell us if something is wrong
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you come across a page or feature that is difficult to use, or content you cannot access, please get in touch. It helps us if you can tell us which page you were on (a URL is ideal), what you were trying to do, and what actually happened — and, if it is relevant, which browser and assistive technology you were using.
Email us at information@crosskey.fi.
The Finnish accessibility supervisory authority publishes guidance and contact information for accessibility concerns at saavutettavuusvaatimukset.fi. Our marketing website is not a public-sector digital service, so the statutory complaint procedure under the Act on the Provision of Digital Services does not formally apply to us. We still take every accessibility report seriously and will work with you to put it right.
