Tell us a little about your background:

I started working at Ålandsbanken in 2010 after completing a M.Sc. in Business Administration and Finance. At Ålandsbanken, I had different roles within the payments area – operational, process development, and team manager. I also worked within the Treasury area, which, in combination with the payments roles, has proven to be valuable in my current position at Crosskey.

What's one of your most rewarding projects at Crosskey, and why?

The most rewarding projects are those that have a substantial impact on our customers. Our Swift Service Bureau services have been serving our core banking customers for many years, and we are proud to say that they have given us positive feedback. We offer services that are easy to onboard, with a minimal compliance footprint for our customers. Throughout the on-boarding process, we provide guidance depending on customer needs and customize integrations to automate message flows.

We understand that some activities can be too time-consuming or too infrequent for individual customers, making it hard to maintain the increasing level of required expertise. That’s why we take over and relieve some of these activities from our customers, allowing them to focus on their core business.

How does your role at Crosskey/Crosskey contribute to client success?

I have the privilege of working with colleagues who bring diverse backgrounds in financial services, combining their expertise for our success. The Swift Service Bureau, as a part of the Payments unit at Crosskey, allows me to stay informed about the various developments in the payments landscape, primarily in the euro zone and in Sweden. This knowledge is shared with and implemented by the team to ensure we remain at the forefront of payment solutions.

What motivates you in your role?

On a very high level, our services are essentially bringing value to everyday society. I’m motivated by that higher purpose. I also appreciate the connection to legislative bodies, market infrastructures, and their initiatives. On a personal level, I truly enjoy the international aspect that my role brings!

On a day-to-day basis, I’m motivated by providing customer service, developing our product offerings, and breaking new grounds together with the team.
