What inspired you to move into tech, and what was your biggest challenge or considerations?

I was inspired to move into tech by Crosskey, by everything I heard about the company, its culture, and its achievements and success. What initially felt like my biggest challenge was actually the limitation I had placed on myself: believing that my lack of IT knowledge and experience meant I didn’t belong in the industry.

Stepping into tech meant stepping outside my comfort zone, but it also opened a world of opportunity. I’ve learned that curiosity, mindset, and the willingness to learn matter more than a predefined background and today I’m proud to contribute to a field that never stops evolving.

What initiatives or programs have helped you grow professionally?

Several initiatives and experiences have played an important role in my professional growth. Stepping into the tech industry itself has been a turning point that accelerated my growth. Every new project at Crosskey has challenged me to learn, adapt, and gain new perspectives. These experiences have helped me build confidence, expand my skills, and discover how rewarding it is to work with knowledgeable and inspiring colleagues.

What misconceptions about tech careers would you like to demystify?

One misconception I’d love to demystify is that tech is all about coding. It’s not. Our industry is full of diverse roles; creative, analytical, strategic, and there’s space for many different backgrounds. You don’t need to be an IT expert to belong here. Curiosity, drive, and the willingness to learn can take you further than you think.

What in tech is most interesting, and what trends in tech excite you the most?

What excites me most about tech is how rapidly the landscape evolves. Our customers face constant change, and the technologies shaping the financial sector are accelerating faster than ever.

Agentic AI is a good example: intelligent systems that can independently manage multi‑step tasks are transforming everything from back‑office operations to risk management, promising huge efficiency gains.

Tech never stands still and that constant movement is exactly what makes working in tech so exciting. There’s always a new opportunity to innovate, simplify, and help our clients stay one step ahead.

How do you see your role evolving in the next five years?

In my current role as a Project Manager, every new project helps me grow, learn, and gain new perspectives. Over the next five years, I see myself continuing to develop through new challenges and greater responsibility, stepping into roles that allow me to contribute even more. My goal is to play an active part in building an even stronger and more successful Crosskey.
